Outline:
This project aims to develop music industry links for FE providers across The Creative Way partnership, enabling partners to develop new employer links with local and national music industry related companies, improve opportunities to link with other Creative Way partners and facilitate progression between learning opportunities.

The project launched in October 2009 with a major music industry exhibition at Havering College, demonstrating the latest equipment and technology that local and national industry has to offer, alongside trade stands and guest speakers. This one day event will run annually at Havering College.

Project partners will host a series of follow-up music industry workshops over the spring term 2010.

The activities and outcomes of the exhibition and the workshops will be used to generate subject-specific information, advice and guidance material, which will be developed and made available to Creative Way partners through the Music Industry Live website during the spring term 2010.
