id-East

id-East gives talented young people in East London schools and colleges the chance to:

• Take part in the id-East student challenge and enter their digital media course work into our competition and awards programme
• Find out more about working in the digital media industry through our programme of master classes and industry visits
• Take part in our on-line Creative Exchange Programme
• Showcase their digital media work at our awards event
  

The id-East Showcase Event was held on Tuesday 29th June 2010 in the Weston Roof Pavilion at the Royal Festival Hall, London.

It was a great opportunity to see the students' work, meet up with everyone who supported the competition and celebrate student success. 

The competition winners were announced by Joe Dempsie, star of TV's 'Skins', and the winners will take part in a one week Summer School delivered by leading media industry experts at The Bridge.
