An important feature of the Foundation Degree is the investigation of professional practice within Fine Art and you will undertake at least one placement, for example working with an artist, art gallery, in art administration or education.

You must be 18 years or over with at least one of the following: • BTEC National Dip in Art and Design • Advanced GNVQ/AVCE • A relevant A-Level, Advanced GCE or Access course • Or equivalent qualification. Entry relies on a good portfolio. Mature applicants are welcome to apply and all applicants are interviewed.
A Progression Agreement is a formal arrangement between two or more
education providers. It spells out what a learner needs to do to be
considered for a place on a named programme of study. Progression Agreements
may vary in the conditions they specify but they all aim to give guaranteed
pathways into higher education.
