Course overview
The frontiers of knowledge are expanding almost daily in this fast-changing field, and this course will introduce you to the very latest in audio hardware and software.

The aims of this course are:

to provide you with a grounding in the basic principles and applications of audio technology
to provide you with the skills, knowledge and practical experience to enable you to develop as a technical practitioner in sound recording, processing and reproduction
Although this course will provide you with a solid background in the theory of electronics and acoustics, the real focus is on giving you the knowledge and techniques you'll need to succeed in a professional environment. Our outstanding technical facilities will allow you to develop those skills and to test them in a variety of practical situations.
When you graduate you will be able to:

evaluate designs, processes and products, and design and implement improvements
design a component, process or system in response to a specified requirement
demonstrate a creative and innovative approach to solving audio technology problems and in formulating designs and delivering solutions
