Graphic Media is a blend of graphic design, illustration and multimedia.
This one year top-up adopts a vocational approach, carrying strong levels of engagement with industry. Although principally intended as a top-up course for the Graphic Media foundation degree at UCA Maidstone, this course is also be open to students from other institutions.
The course is designed to enable you to demonstrate your capacity for sustained independent study and group practice and in developing high quality, creative work.
It is principally devoted to in-depth study within a work-based environment in which students have their own office.
The course also gives you the opportunity to test your ability to research, develop and realise your creative, technical and aesthetic intentions. Much of the studio work is self-initiated and negotiated with tutors and industrial practitioners.

A Progression Agreement is a formal arrangement between two or more
education providers. It spells out what a learner needs to do to be
considered for a place on a named programme of study. Progression Agreements
may vary in the conditions they specify but they all aim to give guaranteed
pathways into higher education.
