Students will have the opportunity to define and pursue a strong personal direction with their work. Following on from the Foundation Degree, students will undertake a series of extended pieces of practical work that relate specifically to their career plans and aspirations. Students have the opportunity to exhibit their work during the programme and the practical elements of the programme are complemented by contextual and critical studies.
Tutorial support - both for individuals and the group - form an important part of this final year.
Assessment
Most of the assessment on the programme is through practical assignments supported by written work and presentations.
Normally, Foundation Degree or HND in Photography.
All applicants will normally be required to attend interview with a portfolio of work that shows their potential to succeed on the programme.
It is expected that applicants will successfully complete a bridging programme between Foundation Degree and this final year of Degree level study.

A Progression Agreement is a formal arrangement between two or more
education providers. It spells out what a learner needs to do to be
considered for a place on a named programme of study. Progression Agreements
may vary in the conditions they specify but they all aim to give guaranteed
pathways into higher education.
