This intensive taught course helps design professionals and graduates to deepen skills and experience within the jewellery industry, through the support of leading international contemporary designers and academics. The course includes seven core modules, live project work and design report development.
Modules include: Design Research and Development; Digital Design and Innovation (optional); 3D Design Innovation (optional) Design for Production; Design in Practice; Design Communication; Design Identity and Concept Development; Major Project.
Successful applicants normally hold an Honours degree within design and have a relevant design portfolio. Those with relevant professional qualifications and/or extensive professional design experience will also be considered. A Progression Agreement is a formal arrangement between two or more education providers. It spells out what a learner needs to do to be considered for a place on a named programme of study. Progression Agreements may vary in the conditions they specify but they all aim to give guaranteed pathways into higher education.
